Added a little wire sculpture and some feathers to it. Reworked over the whole image with compressed charcoal. I missed the "sketchy" feel of the original drawing.

Hey, this one is really, really good. I think I'd seen the previous pic when it was halfway done, but it looks awesome finished. I know a lot of hacks might be drawn to surrealism because it's weird, and sometimes it's easy to accept weird without looking for quality. But anything that's really worthwhile, regardless of weirdness, will have reason and quality to back it up. You're definitely a good painter, and the way that you think and dream lends itself very well to surrealism. Not everyone dreams like you, not everyone thinks like you, and not everyone can tie that in to literature and life experience in the way that you do. Anyone with a truly unique worldview has the opportunity to, merely by existing and setting an example, enlighten an openminded audience in quite a variety of ways. In a nutshell...you rock :)
